FESTIVAL FUN: Wireless Festival 2010
We came, we saw and we conquered Wireless Festival 2010 over the weekend, and what a busy weekend it was!
With standout performances by Friday's headliner Pink who gave an amazing performance (as usual), Snoop Dogg, Friendly Fires, Tinie Tempah, Wale, Lily Allen, McLean, J Cole and many more, Wireless Festival goers were truly entertained for three days of fun in the sun.
On Saturday Rapper Missy Elliot caused a stir amongst the crowd after being nearly 30 minutes late for her performance, and then performing for only 15 minutes before having her set cut mid-way through a song. She was booed by the crowd for sporting an Addidas tracksuit which were the colours of Germany's football kit - this was a stupid move as England were after all kicked out of the World Cup after being beaten by Germany - wrong move Missy!
The mighty Hova aka Jay-Z had the crowd in the palm of his hands on Sunday. The rapper gave a great performance, (minus the not-so-good volume control), with some of his classics such as '99 Problems' and 'Jigga'. Rapper J Cole and Mr Hudson, who was hobbling on crutches, joined Jay-Z on stage for the Blueprint 3 tracks 'A Star Is Born' and 'Forever Young'.
All in all a great weekend!
