43 year old Rapper, Guru is reported to be in a coma after suffering a heart attack yesterday. The accredited East coast rapper is due to undergo surgery at some point today, in New York.
One half of the famed and much respected Hip hop group, Gang Starr, along with fellow accomplice DJ Premier, who announced Guru's critical condition on Hip Hop Nation, has claimed to have stated that "Guru is in a coma and will under surgery tomorrow afternoon".
The sad news of Guru, born Keith Alam, unfortunate health condition will not go down well with the Hip hop world. With the loss of so many great MC's, over the last decade (B.I.G, Tupac, Baatin, to name a few)another loss will only add to the declining number of credible MC's.
