Two of the original members of the Sugababes, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy have applied for ownership of the Sugababes name. This comes after the news of, third original member Keisha Buchanan's plans to sue for the ownership of the name also.
When Keisha was booted out of the Babes, it was said that Universal Records were the rightful owners of the name Sugababes. However, it has been said that the original members, Mutya and Keisha created the name of the group.
