ALBUM REVIEW: Marsha Ambrosius- 'Late Nights & Early Mornings'
The eagerly anticipated solo album from the UK's very own Marsha Ambrosius has FINALLY dropped, and although we have been fiending for it for a LONG TIME... it was definitely worth the wait!
In the run up to the February 28th UK release (a day before they got it in the US), we were given the 'Sextapes' vol. 1-3 and they just about kept us going.
13 tracks of Marsha's unmistakable vocal tones serves as a soundtrack for tales of love, lust, growth, loss and life.
When first looking at the tracklisting you'll see no features, but do not fret! One- she doesn't need any, two- there are some heavy hitters on production and co-writing duty, which includes- Alicia Keys, Rich Harrison, Sterling Simms and Lauryn Hill.
This is real soulful LP and the quality of the production shows why it took so long to be released.
Stand out tracks- 'LN & EM', 'Far Away', 'Lose Myself', 'Your Hands', 'I Want You To Stay', 'Tears' and 'The Break Up Song'.
Whether you're a Floetry fan or not you'll definitely love this album. This is an essential purchase for your collection.
I give this one a well deserved 5 out 5.
GO GET IT!!
