Things seem to just keep getting better and better for Essex singer-songwriter Jessie J. The former BRIT School student has topped the BBC Sound of 2011 list. Previous winners include Corrine Bailey Rae, Adele, Little Boots and 50 Cent.
She beat off other acts on the list such as Jamie Woon and James Blake, who came in second and third place.
Last month Jessie J won the BRITs Critics' Choice award and she will accept the award on the night of the actual ceremony in February.
