Just like the title of her new single, it seems Beyonce really does run the world! It has been announced that the multi Grammy award winning singer will be honoured at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards with the Billboard Millenium Award.
The award will acknowledge and commend Bey's 15 years of service to the music industry, from her days in Destiny's Child to now as a solo act. Artists such as Rihanna, Cee-Lo Green and Nicki Minaj are said to be taking to the stage on the night to pay tribute to the star.
The Billboard Music Awards will take place on May 22nd in Las Vegas.
