The Bajan singer has achieved her 10th number 1 single as her raunchy 'S&M' hits the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Doing that, the singer has also managed to break the record of having the shortest amount of time between her first and tenth single on the chart, beating Mariah Carey.
"Having first reigned atop the Hot 100 the week of May 13, 2006, with 'SOS,' Rihanna logs the shortest span between a solo artist's first and 10th No.1s in the chart's 52-year history, a stretch of four years, 11 months and two weeks."
