NEWS: Jay-Z's Memoir 'Decoded' To Be Released In November

Even thought the memoir was penned years ago, this November sees the release of Jay-Z's up-coming book, 'Decoded'. The autobiography, written in first person, was written by both Jay-Z and ex The Source editor and friend Dream Hampton. The book consists of 3336 pages which tell the story of Jay's life from his childhood in Brooklyn's Marcy Projects to his years as a teen drug dealer to becoming a hip-hop superstar, as well as delving into his most famous and provocative lyrics, and interviews with some of the music moguls family and friends.

As the book was written a few years ago, there's been no word if extra information has been added in such as his latest album The Blueprint 3, his 360 deal with Live Nation, and of course his marriage to Beyonce.

Check out what Jay had to say to Rolling Stones about why he has waited so long to release it:

"It's too much. For the book, I was interviewed, people close to me were interviewed. So I was learning a lot of things I didn't know as a child,"
