MOVIE TRAILER: 'Streetdance'

Sparks fly as the worlds of street-dance and ballet collide in 'Streetdance', a vibrant 3-D feature film.

While training for the UK Streetdance Championships, a streetdance crew are forced to work with Royal ballet dancers in return for rehearsal space. With no common ground and with passions riding high, they realise they need to find a way to join forces to win.

'Streetdance' features some of the cream of UK dance talent, including show-stopping performances from Britain’s Got Talent dance sensations Flawless, Diversity and George Sampson.

Streetdance hits cinemas nationwide May 21st 2010.

Aww poor thing!

Perri Kiely, 13 of the dance group Diversity, injured his head whilst performing in front Prime minister Gordon Brown and a handfull of shocked journalists at 10 Downing Street yesterday. Perri, known to many as "the cute one" was in the middle of performing yet another dance spectacle with the rest of his group members when an attempt at his usually successful air grazing back flips, witnessed the bushy hair cutie land head first on the concrete...ouch!

Adhering to the old saying, "the show must go on", the remaining members of the Diversity dance group finished their ever creative dance routine in celebration of the Second Talent and Enterprise TaskForce, before immediately rushing to young Perri's aide.

Luckily the young member wasn't badly injured, although he was seen rubbing the back of his head in pain...bless him!

MOBO Awards Line Up

The line up for the 2009 MOBO Awards has been announced....

Gracing the stage will be Tinchy Stryder, who'll perform a medley of his #1 singles, '#1' with N-Dubz and 'Never Leave' with Amelle Berrabah and Chipmunk will peform 'Diamond Rings'. Bashy, JLS, Ironik, Flawless and Diversity will also be performing.

As well as Janet Jackson perfoming at the MOBOs, being held at the SECC, her brother Jermaine Jackson will also be there to perform 'Smile', which I don't think people want to actual hear again, after he sang it at his late brother's televised memorial service. Shaheen Jafargholi will also perform, which is the first time he's performed since Michael Jackson's memorial service.

The show will be co-hosted by Reggie Yates.....wonder who'll they've secured as his co-host? Keri Hilson maybe?.........although I've heard she'll be performing.....

Not to forget Peter Andre will be the backstage host for the night.........

Diversity Before They Won BGT

Four years before Britains Got Talent (BGT), Diversity were known as Swift Moves and took part in four battles at The Jump Off.

The Jump Off is a hip hop show which includes, rap battles, fashion shows, live performances and dance battles.

With a record of Won 2/Lost 2 here is a compilation of their best bits.



There is no Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden or Piers Morgan at the Jump Off, no red buzzers can stop you and there's no Ant n Dec to cushion you afterwards. The Jump Off is nutorious for it's tough, judgemental crowd and many pristine Judges have left saying "If you can perform at Jump Off, you can perform anywhere".

Hosted by Rap6 and Kymberlee Jay, Judges on the nights Diversity/Swift Moves battled included:Guru, Pretty Ricky, Inspectah Deck (Wu Tang), Jazzie B and Terri Walker

DIVERSITY JUST GOT LUCKY, SAYS PIERS MORGAN

Britains Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan believes that dance group Flawless should've won BGT:

Morgan told the Daily Mail:

"I think Flawless were unlucky to have gone on first. If they had gone last it may have been different.
'They're both amazing dance groups. Diversity were just very lucky.'

I wonder how Diversity are feeling after hearing this? Do Simon and Amanda believe the same thing?

I can't help but agree with Piers. If Flawless had gone on last, would they have won?

Britain's Got Talent

I'm happy that Susan Boyle didn't win, but that dance crew, Diversity from Essex won!! At least this time BGT wasn't a fix.



All this hype about Susan Boyle, some overnight Internet phenomenon, going to the States and being interviewed by Oprah, getting invited to have dinner with Mr Obama.....all of that and she didn't even win...and I'm glad!

It's a shame that Flawless didn't get to the top 3, but be realistic, the public would vote for Diversity over Flawless, they've got little kids in their group, what more do you need?

Flawless are still champions, even though they didn't win. They will definitely be even more successful now!

Well done to Diversity!! It's about time the Queen got schooled on something that's a bit urban.
