Hackney singer Leona Lewis will play an exclusive gig at the Hackney Empire on Novemeber 2nd, previewing material from her new album, 'Echo'.
The show will be for a limited number of fans only from all over the world. In the UK, iTunes is giving away just 200 tickets for the event on its Facebook page and will make live songs from the night available to coincide with the album's release.
"As a local girl it's an honour to get to perform at the Empire, so close to where I grew up. In the last few years I've travelled the world with work but Hackney is my home and always will be." said Lewis.
This may be the last time Leona will get to perform at the Hackney Empire as their doors are set to close in January 2010.
In other news Leona will be signing her new autobiography 'Dreams' in Waterstones in Piccadilly, 30 Jermyn Street, London. SW1Y 6WW at 3pm tomorrow.
