We at SocialWriters have also compiled a list of music acts we think you should look out for in 2010.....

Clement Marfo + The Frontline
When describing the UK band, Clement Marfo & the The Frontline, words like, charisma and energy come to mind. In what the industry sees as tough times where acts are struggling to sing live, Marfo and The Frontline rock through shows with an eclectic set whilst 'Champion and Champagne Lifestyle' remains the pick of their tracks.

Ke$ha
After appearing on Flo Rida's hit 'Right Round' we knew she'd be someone to look out for. The American singer has since released her debut single, 'Tik Tok' that has received a lot of airplay both here in Europe and Stateside. We have a feeling she'll be a huge success (especially if she has Flo Rida on one of her tracks)

 Drake
Over the last 5-6 months we have become a bit bored of Drake. Don’t get us wrong, we still rate the Canadian rapper, but we think he may have left it too long to release his full-length album, especially after the major success of the ‘So Far Gone’ mixtape. Like others in the past ,(see Canibus for proof), we will have to see if he lives up to the hype! We honestly hope he does.

Dionne Bromfield
At the tender age of 13, Dionne Bromfield is one to watch! Backed by her famous god-mother, Amy Winehouse, Dionne released her debut album, 'Introducing Dionne Bromfield', in October which displays the young singer's love for vintage soul music. The only way is up for the beautiful teenager who is set to make a big impact on soul music.

J Cole
There's something about J Cole's flow that reminds us of a young Jay-Z during his 'Reasonable Doubt' days, which is probably why he was chosen to grace the track  'A Star Is Born' on Jay's 'BluePrint 3' album. With everyone still high off the Drake hype, this North Carolina native will definitely give Drake a run for his rep and will surely keep some of these self proclaimed 'best rappers' on their toes. If you don't already know, please familiarize yourself with his music, 'The Warm Up', his current mixtape, is a good place to start.

Nicki Minaj
Many compare her to Lil Kim and rightfully so, but at a time when female rappers have either fell off, been incarcerated or decided to sing, Nicki has been a breath of fresh air. Thinking back to seeing her on a SMACK dvd a few years back, she was a bit rough around the edges, but since being taken under the wing of Lil Wayne, we think she has become a female force to be reckoned with (See BETs Cypher 2009). With sex appeal, looks and lyrics, (she writes herself), we're very confident 2010 will be her year.

Lynk
Widely regarded as ‘London's Missing Spitter’ Lynk is back and plans to feed the streets with his latest mixtape ‘Dear Diary’. With a crystal clear flow and smooth production 'Dear Diary' is Lynk’s most personal tape to date that will surely see him propel to new heights in 2010.

Muhsinah
Her recent album 'The Oscillations: Triangle', the follow up to her equally impressive 2008 'Oscillation: Sine' album, is outstanding. Although it was released in July of this year, we still hope and believe that 2010 will bare witness to her greatest work yet. Her sound is a concoction of soul, elctronic, hip hop and punk music all merged together, creating an unlikely though just as beautiful partnership. The Washington DC native's voice is simply stunning and the fact that she writes, produces and composes all of music, definitely speeds her ahead of some of 2010's up and coming soul singers.
