NEWS: Are Destiny's Child Making Another Album?

According to Bossip, Beyoncé's former manager and father Matthew Knowles informed them at the Essence Music Festival that Destiny's Child are currently working on a new album.

I guess we'll have to keep our ears to the ground on this one!

NEWS: Ciara Dropped From Label?

Rumour has it that the R&B singer has been dropped from Jive Records apparently due to
poor record sales of her latest album ‘Basic Instinct’, which has sold less than 50K since its
release in December.

It was said that, Ciara was meant to release her track ‘Turn It Up’ featuring Usher as her
next single. March 8th was the set date that the single was due to hit the radio airwaves but
that has now been pulled.


The singer has also been spotted over at Universal Records with rumours of plans to signing her to Interscope.

As said, it is only a rumour, but whether true or not, hopefully we haven’t heard from the last
of this R&B/Pop princess.

NEWS: Diddy Speaks About Nicki Minaj Firing Him As Her Manager [AUDIO]

So a press release was circulated over the past days with a quote from Nicki Minaj that she had fired Diddy as her manager - most people didn't even know Diddy was managing her.

Diddy hit up Hot97's Funkmaster Flex to discuss this rumour as well as his upcoming album 'Last Train To Paris' and 'Bugatti Boys'. Have a listen to the interview in the player above.

According to your boy Diddy, he is still working with Nicki and they've never had an official bound contract that he is her manager - he just helps her out in any way that he can.

Hmmmm....Nicki took to Twitter to say she doesn't know Benny Medina, implying that he couldn't be her new manager, but she didn't deny or try to deny that she fired Diddy...........

NEWS: Mariah Carey Tweets About Rumoured New Album Title

On Thursday we told you that Mariah's new album was to be called 'Merry Christmas II You', which sources Rap-Up.com were told.

Even husband Nick Cannon thought that that was the album title, so he retweeted what Rap-Up had said. Mariah claims that this may not even be the title of the album, so she hit up Twitter to respond to her husband's retweet:

"That's not a confirmed title Dearest heart! I never said what kind of an album it is My Love! What? : )," 

We'll just have to wait and see, wont we?

NEWS: Mariah Carey Speaks About Her Pregnancy Rumours

Since everyone is talking about Mariah and her baby bump, she thought she'd say something about it too:


“I appreciate everyone’s well wishes. But I am very superstitious. When the time is right, everyone will know–even Cindi Berger.”

Mariah is that superstitious that she hasn't even told her own publicist Cindi about her 'pregnancy'.

RUMOUR: Lil Kim To Sign Record Deal With Jay-Z's Roc Nation?

Rumours has it that the notorious Lil Kim will signing a record deal with Roc Nation.
Apparently industry insiders have confirmed the signing with The Urban Daily stating that the news will be announced soon, and that Jay-Z himself will be executive producer of Kim's new album.

If the rumours are true, we'd say this is great news as Lil Kim is a great rapper who needs to get back in the game. Nicki Minaj better watch out.....

In other Roc Nation news, The Clipse have been signed to Roc Nation. It was reported that Malice was signed to the label for his debut solo album and it now seems that Pusher T will also be a part of Roc Nation's roster

RUMOUR: Keisha Buchanan To Tell All About Life In The Sugababes In New Book?

Sources have told NOW Magazine that ex-Sugababes member, Keisha Buchanan, is to write a tell-all book about her time as a member of the Sugababes, documenting the highs and lows as well as being axed from the band in secret.

"Keisha's in discussions about writing a book about her time in the band," says one source. "Publishers have been after her for ages, but it's only now she's seriously considering it. At the moment it's still in the initial stages, but she's very excited," the source added.

"The book will chart the highs and lows and obviously deal with the very public split last year.
"Keisha's always kept quiet about what really happened even though the others have spoken at length about it."

What an interesting read that book would be......

RUMOUR: Ugly Betty To Be Made Into A Film?

Yesterday the last episode of Ugly Betty aired in the States after being axed. But now rumours are swirling that Ugly Betty will be brought back to life in the form of a full length film.

Ana Ortiz, who plays Betty's sister Hilda in the show has said:

"It's something that we've been talking about and it's something that America Ferrera would really love to do. That woman has so much determination that I can't imagine anything she puts her mind to not getting done!"

RUMOUR: Jay-Z To Sign Keisha Buchanan To Roc Nation?

Rumours are swirling that Keisha Buchanan is in talks with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label to be their latest signing......

They definitely hit it off at Jay-Z's BRITS afterparty in February at Merah, and a source told The Mirror: "Jay is serious about getting her on board."

I knew something like this was coming! I was always convinced that Keisha was the main reason why Jay-Z signed the Sugababes to Roc Nation.

If this turns out to be true, it will be yet another blow to the Sugababes, who are rumoured to have been dropped from Roc Nation, after poor sales of their latest album, 'Sweet 7'.......can someone say karma?
