NEWS: Teddy Riley Goes In On Will.i.am's Views On Michael Jackson's New Album 'Michael'

Teddy Riley spoke to our friends over at PunchBowl Blog recently and had some choice words to say about Will.i.am and his negative views on Michael Jackson's post-humous album 'Michael'.

"I think he should have kept it to himself, I’m sorry. Nothing against Will.I.Am, but it’s not his business. You know, if you got something to say that’s against my friend, you know, and upholding his legacy, then what happens when you die? Should we just stop your music? Let me say this; this album is greater than his best album. Michael’s worst day is better than peoples best day. Cause he’s such a perfectionist, so when you’ve got a person who’s such a perfectionist, when you got people like, um, Will.I.Am just throws his…you know, puts two things together, samples together and drop something and copy from so many different artists, you know what I’m saying. Michael’s been innovative, he’s not copied off of anyone. Will.I.Am has copied so many different things and he’s taken from so many different things. I’m a music guy, I know everything that he’s (had) every record that he’s made, every sample that he used. So that’s not being innovative, it’s a big difference. When you can speak, speak when you have the knowledge and the education about someone. Not when you, you know, cause you got a few hits out there, you got, right now, you’re the producer and you doing what you doing, but it will never compare."

NEWS: Ne-Yo Wants Janet Jackson To Sing Songs He Penned For Michael Jackson

Apparently Ne-Yo wants Janet Jackson to record music he wrote for her late brother Michael Jackson, as he believes it would be "disrespectful" to hand the songs over to an artist outside of the family. Ne-Yo still wants the unheard tracks to be heard by fans.

"I've been trying to figure out what to do with those songs. I can't give them to anybody else because they were written for Michael. That would be disrespectful."  Ne-Y told The Daily Star.

"So if I could get Janet and the brothers to do a collaborative tribute, that would be a great idea. There are about 10 he personally selected. He told me, 'I like this one, this one, this one.' I can't just put them out by myself because again they were meant for him but they're really good songs, it's good quality music."

The King of Pop approached Ne-Yo to write him an album's worth of material shortly before he passed away last summer.

VIDEO: Chris Brown's Michael Jackson Tribute At The BET Awards 2010

Chris Brown performed a tribute to the late Michael Jackson at this year's BET Awards, and what a great but emotional performance it was! BET knew it was the right thing to do to allow Chris to perform.

After last year's plans for Chris to do an MJ performance were scrapped after his physical altercation with then girlfriend Rihanna, Chris took to the stage this year and danced his heart out.

When it came for Chris to do his performance of the classic 'Man In The Mirror', Chris just broke down and cried throughout the whole song.

This now has people speculating whether Chris' tears were really genuine or just a way to win everyone's hearts again.
