NEWS: Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Reveal The Twins' Names

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have revealed the names of "dem babies".

Their daughter's name is Monroe Cannon, named after Marilyn Monroe and their son is called Moroccan Scott Cannon. The top-tier of Mariah's NYC apartment is called the Moroccan Room and is also where Nick proposed to the singer.

NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY: Mariah Gives Birth To The Twins

Congratulations are definitely in order for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon as their twins have finally arrived! The couple welcomed their first born's, a girl and a boy, to the world yesterday; the same day as their 3rd wedding anniversary.

Nick tweeted how the birth of his son and daughter was 'the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life!'

Congrats to the pair of them!

Simon Cowell has said that mum-to-be Mariah Carey will have a role on the live shows of X Factor US.

The music mogul told a radio show:

"I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows. I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with."

"She'll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits."

 

Seems like Mimi will be cutting short her maternity leave and leaving "dem babies" with Nick one night a week!

 The singer speaks exclusively to the magazine about "dem babies", feeling like a mother already and the shoot:

• On taking these pictures at all: "I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans."

• On her experiences during the shoot: "The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable,’ Carey tells Life & Style. ‘Especially the girl; clearly she’s a diva in training. We didn’t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart."

• On feeling like a mother already: "Now I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who’ve had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples. We need to have Mother’s Day once a week."

In other MCC news, Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon are said to have taken naked pictures of themselves to place around their home.

Mariah Carey has announced in an interview that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting a boy and a girl this year!

The star told Life and Style magazine the news, saying that they were surprised no one had guessed the sexes of the twins.

"There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumours about them being two boys or two girls - but nobody guessed this!"

 The twins are due to be born in April.

After all of the rumours and speculation, Mariah Carey has finally revealed that she is indeed pregnant!

The singer who's due to give birth next Spring told The Today Show that she had previously suffered a miscarriage earlier in her marriage.

With the promo of 'Merry Christman II You', her new Christmas album, Mariah felt she had to announce that she was pregnant as it would've been obvious.
