Here's the first single from rapper Common's upcoming album 'The Dreamer, The Believer', due to drop November 22nd. 'Ghetto Dreams' features the likes of fellow rapper Nas and the video is directed by none other than Matt Alonzo.

NEWS: Common To Release Autobiography in 2011

Rapper Common is set to release an autobiography entitled 'One Day It'll Make Sense', which is also the title of his brand new album.

The autobiography will tell all about the rapper's childhood and his rise to fame.

The book will be release June 2011.

R.I.P J Dilla

J Dilla was the most honorable producer that ever lived.

Throughout the week, fans world wide have been paying tribute to the sublime talent that was James Dewitt Yancey (aka Dilla Dawg!), on what would of been his 36th birthday on the 7th February.

However; never one to conform, I was a little reluctant to jump on the bandwagon as it wasn't until his death that he began to receive the recognition that he undoubtedly deserved. Yet, political views aside, the powers within could not condone my stubbornness and as such, we at Social Writers have created a mixture of our favourite J Dilla tracks as well as a filmed tribute by rapper Common, in memory of the incredibly talented producer.
