Winner of  X-Factor 2006, Leona Lewis and American chart-smashing group, Black Eyed Peas, will be perfoming on X-Factor next weekend (November 8th).

Leona will perform her new single 'Happy' from her sophomore album 'Echo' which is released November 16th.

BEPs will perform their new single, 'Meet Me Halfway'.

X-Factor seem to be getting really good musical acts this year to perform an mentor the contestants. I wonder who else they've got up their sleeves.......

TalentHouse Calls All Creative People

TalentHouse launched this week and it's basically a platform for creative collaboration, providing creative perople opportunities in music, film, fashion, art and photography for recognition and compensation. It's sort of like Gumtree, but for creative people.
There are loads of international brands and artists on board with Talent House that are looking for creative people to work on some projects with them through Creative Invites. Creative Invites are where an artist or brand invites the TalentHouse communiy to collaborate on a professional piece of work.

Naomi Campbell, Nokia and Adidas are among some of the Creative Invites with the aim to discover new talent, design new products and create original content.

Dr Dre created this Creative Invite to work on a project for his Beats By Dre headphones:
Dr Dre,the legendary music producer, has teamed up with Talenthouse to find the next promotional video for his successful Beats by Dr Dre headphones. This invite is open to all aspiring video/film makers interested in creating an artistic, hip and edgy 30-60 second video clip that reflects the Beats by Dre overall mission that "sound matters".

Anybody who is interested can log onto www.talenthouse.com to participate in the Creative Invites, where you can sign up to enter yourself for a particular project.

You can also set up your own creative invite on Talent House if you're looking for a creative collaboration yourself. e.g. if you're a music artist and you're looking for a designer to create an LP cover for you.

Gucci Mane, Mario & Plies BET Hip Hop Awards 2009

Your boy Gucci Mane took time out of rehab to perform with Mario, and Plies at the BET Hip Hop Awards.



Whether you like Gucci or not, he has managed to transform his cult hood following into a mainstream buzz that his seen him work with Mariah Carey, Black Eyed Peas, Keri Hilson and a host of other popular artists.

Whilst still currently in rehab, Gucci is preparing for the release of his latest solo album 'The State VS Radric Davis' on Dec 8th.

NEW MOVIE: 'Takers'

Judging by the impressive trailer, Takers encapsulates the same cinematic quality of some of the most accredited sophisticated and suave action packed movies in recent years, such as Ocean's Eleven and The Bank Job. So if you enjoy watching exploding cars, thievery and bad boys in suits ( Sorry guys this is written from a females perspective) then Takers is definitely the movie for you.

With a cast that includes the sexy and equally talented Idris Elba, T.I.P, Matt Dillon, Zoe Salanda, Micheal Ealy and Chris Brown, just to name a few, director John Luenssenhops has definitely gone out with the intention to revamp the old "bank robber flick" and inturn has given Takers an urban polish.

After pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies, the star studded cast is set out to nail one last job with the highest stake, but with a hard-boiled detective on their case, the crew may have bitten off more than they can chew.

Takers is set to be a blockbuster and I for one can't wait to see it!
