NEWS: Wyclef Jean Shot In Haiti

Wyclef Jean was shot in his hand yesterday in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on the eve of the countries presidential run-off.

Wyclef, who tried to run for presidency in his home country, was taken to hospital and is recovering from the non-life threatening wound.

NEWS: Wyclef Jean Definitely Can't Run In The Haitian Presidential Election

Wyclef's dream of becoming president of Haiti has well and truly been shut down as the musician learned that he can't appeal to Haiti's electoral decision of barring him from running in Haiti's presidential race.

Wyclef was barred from running because the rules state that anybody running for presidency must live in Haiti - which he doesn't.

We guess Wyclef better spend the next 5 years back in his home town if he wants to ever become president of Haiti!
