Jay-Z graces the front cover of Q Magazine with Lady Gaga and Dave Grohl 's for their October issue which talks about the 10 most exciting people in music right now.

Jay-Z speaks on his upbringing in Marcy Projects, his friendship with Coldplay's Chris Martin and his notorious beef with Nas.


Even though Chris Martin and Jay are friends now, the music mogul revealed what his friendship with Chris would've been like if they met when Jay lived in the Projects.


Hov admits, “That’s a different scenario. He couldn’t walk through Marcy. I was a different person then. I wasn’t open to the world and to cultures. I would have been, ‘Yo! Who are you?  Give me your money.’ You couldn’t have a guy like Chris walking through Marcy. He’d have to get robbed. At best.”
