NEWS: Kojo And Max Take Over Choice FM's Breakfast Show

The UK's number one urban station, Choice FM, has revealed that its popular weekday breakfast show will now be hosted by top UK talents Kojo and Max.

The duo will be taking their place at the station from Monday 18th April.

Martin Jay, who currently hosts the weekday breakfast show, will now host the weekend breakfast show and continue Caribbean Affair show on Sundays 9-11pm.

On joining the show, Kojo said: 'I'm really proud to take Choice into a new chapter with my lovely co-host Max and I can't wait to get started. Let the fun begin!'

Max added: 'It's so exciting to be a part of the Choice team. I'm looking forward to working with Kojo and taking things to the next level.'

Listen to Kojo and Max Monday to Friday 6-9am on Choice 96.9 and 107.1 FM throughout the UK

The Black Tie Comedy Awards 2009

The 2009 Black Tie Comedy Awards took place last night at indigo, O2 and was a MAJOR SUCCESS!!

Despite the horrible traffic conditions everyone arrived suited and booted and ready to celebrate the achievements of some of the best comedians not only in the UK but in the world.

Special guest on the night, American comic Billy Bellamy was a no show but was not missed as my boy Kojo and the beautiful Rachael Ritfield kept the proceedings flowing for everybody in attendance.

The winners on the night-

• Best TV Performance: SLIM

• Best Female Comedian: GLENDA JAXSON

• Best Male Comedian: SLIM

• Best Comedy Promotion: HARMONY PRODUCTIONS

• Best International Comedian: CHRIS ROCK

• Outstanding Achievement: THE CAST OF REAL MCCOY

Unfortunately I was unable to attend but with all the feedback I recieved, the night was definitely a very professional event which did not disappoint. Congratulations to the winners and also the nominees as they are a lot of people that worked extremely hard on their craft over the last year.

Shout out to DJ Longers too, I heard you killed it at the afterparty!

Buffie The Body in London

Video model Buffie The Body has been partying it up in London this week. The model who is most noted for her appearance in Tony Yayo's 'So Seductive' video was in London to promote the launch of Candy magazine.
