NEWS: Big Brother Will Return To TV This Summer

It has been confirmed that Big Brother, the programme that everyone loves to hate, has found itself a new home on Channel 5!

The channel have secured a 2 year deal for the show which was axed from Channel 4 last year after ratings dropped.

Things will kick off in August with Celebrity Big Brother, with the hopes of securing actor Charlie Sheen and Peaches Geldof as contestants.

Davina McCall, who had hosted the show since it's start in 2000, will not be hosting the show this time around.

TV: Big Brother 11 Launches June 9th

In the last series to air in the UK, Big Brother 11 will launch Wednesday June 9th, 9pm on Channel 4.

We wonder what tricks Big Brother has up its sleeve for the contestants this year. Hopefully this will be a great series......it's the last one after all. It must go out with a big bang!

BB's Imogen Claims To Inspire Jermain Defoe

According to Imogen, her relationship with footballer boyfriend Jermain Defoe is the reason why he's been doing well on the pitch recently. Defoe has been in top form since the football season started back up, scoring a string of goals.

"I'd like to think that I have something to do with his recent run of form," Thomas told the Daily Star. "We spend a lot of time at home rather than going clubbing. We just relax and watch TV. I've got him addicted to Crimewatch."

"I'm taking good care of him and I think that half the battle is being happy, which he is at the moment."

Really Imogen?? You're that confident that you're the reason why Jermain keeps scoring goals?

Big Brother To End Next Year

It has been confirmed that next years' Big Brother 11 will be the last series with broadcaster, Channel 4. (YES!!)

Speaking at the network's Autumn press launch this morning, C4 director of television Kevin Lygo said: "We will not be continuing with Big Brother. Next year will be the last series for Channel 4. There will be a celebrity version, plus the regular one. We've decided it's time to move on."

Endemol are said to be taking Big Brother to another broadcaster in 2011.
